In town for a week, and looking for a half decent meal. I order the Clubhouse with cheese, but sandwich was served with no cheese. My husband ordered a 6 oz. steak. The steak was about 1/8 inch thick and was riddled with fat. He doesnt generally mind a bit of fat in his steak, but this was very difficult to cut, and he spit out the first bite. The waitress was very nice and took the steak back to the kitchen. The manager said it was not her fault the steak was so fatty, and would not take it off the check. While I was eating my clubhouse with no cheese and soft bacon...the cook walked through the dining room with 2 large pieces of meat which did not look very good. We come to Fairview every year for business, and I can assure you we will never return here for a meal! We highly recommend you try one of the other restaurants in town, as I am sure we would have gotten a better meal at A & W or Burger Baron to say the least! Buyer Beware! less...
