Amisk Lake is truly a gem when it comes to alberta lakes. It's a very small lake, very clean and unpopulated and we would highly recommend it!! That is as long as you don't intend to stay at or invest in the Amisk Lake Trailer Park. The owners, Norm and Disease, are very controlling and their contracts to allow you to stay in "their park" border on illegal. Rules of the campground are extremely vague/subjective and are enforced on the basis of preference of the camper by the owners. I would HIGHLY recommend that you thoroughly review the lease agreement, with legal advice, before investing in any lease agreement in this community!!! less...
